With regard to my earlier question, today it was reported that Judge Alito once attended a ska festival. Oi!

I'm slightly unnerved by the suggestion that some people are making that protectionism is somehow in the Constitution. It's not.

Yes, it is in the Constitution. And the tariffs on foreign imports were to be a KEY source of income for the Federal Government. Founding Fathers LIKED to protect American economy - read my tagline.

A bilateral free trade agreement? That's impossible!! A delusional woman on FR said that all trade agreements must be multilateral, per orders from the WTO. I guess she was wrong, again.

There you go again. Calling someone a name and not pinging him on it. Don't you know you are violating posting etiquette?

That's funny, I mention a delusional woman, and you automatically think I'm talking about you. I guess if the tin foil hat fits, wear it.

That's funny, I don't see the word "me" in my post, do you? Your inference is faulty.

You never responded to this post. Is it because the actual definitions make your statement "In the eyes of the falsely named "free traders" if you are for free enterprise, you are against capitalism" look silly? Or because you just didn't understand the definitions?

She cannot respond. The legions of the WTO are at her doorstep, and time is precious.

More likely she couldn't find a Commie website to back up the "if you are for free enterprise, you are against capitalism" bit of false logic.
