I sometimes watch BET on Sunday nights for their Christian programming, but I see it was pre-empted last night for typical BET music videos and other trash. Maybe the Christian pastors knew about this award and yanked their programs from BET? I could see them doing this; they have no respect at all for FaraCON.

Sorry General Honore, looks like taking charge of and evacuating New Orleans after one of our greatest natural disasters..didn't make enough of a positive impact on the black community.
Or maybe holding up Louis Farrakhan as a positive role model just shows that BET audience is "stuck on stupid". But then, nation of islam bodyguards DO have more medals and frills on their uniforms than does General Honore.
