I found FR back during the recount days. Thank the Lord I did. I was going crazy with all the BS talking heads on TV.
Interestingly....CNN was covering one of the recount protests and someone was holding a sign that said www.freerepublic.com
I wrote that down and later that evening logged in here. Within a few minutes of reading the threads I joined.
I pledged $20.00 when I signed up. Two-three weeks later I became a monthly. Been here ever since.
And been on every freepathon since

My youngest had to see a specialist at CHOP and my sister was over Penn Hospital
Anyhow .. every day I would drive down I was yelling at the radio while listening to the news of the recounts
I'm sure that people in the cars around me all thought I was nuts yelling .. FOFL
Since I found FR .. I hardly yelling at TV or in the car anymore :0)
