I believe the self-hating Oslo contingent in Israel forgave his crime. That's when I really turned dead set against liberalism in full fury. I never bought into the notion peace means forgiving murderers and forgetting their victims. Someone should inform the Oslo crowd and stupid self-hating Jews like Shlemielberg that there can be no peace without justice. DUH

The same Spielberg who said meeting Castro was the 8 greatest hours of his life. If that's his view of a sadistic Communist despot who murderered tens of thousands to stay in power, its hard to see where he would find Islamic terrorists to be as equally morally repulsive.

This film is certainly generating a lot of contention.

This is one instance where it's just not so, that "any publicity is good publicity."

This is an instance where I'd definitely say that "all the publicity about this film is bad and that means that it's probably a bad film" (at least, "bad" as to message -- I'm sure it's wonderfully directed and elegant in visuals and score but...window dressing only covers a bad display just so much).

Makes perfect sense. Is it true that the Olympic games went on after the killings for a few days before they were called off? That is what I have heard. (Please know that I was born the year this happened and they did not teach this in public school.) If that is true, I think it speaks volumes about how most of the world viewed terrorism at that time.....as only an Israeli problem.

Fisher and Spielberg. The other is still and American citizen. At least with Bobby Fisher, his hatred of America is the real deal and I have grudging respect for someone who renounced his own country. Most of our liberals are cowards who don't even have the courage to follow their beliefs and move to France if they're so unhappy living in this blessed land.

Munich is really the Left's view about how America should fight terrorists. Israel and the Palestinians are really stand-ins for us and Al Qaeda. The liberal view as you probably guessed, is there's nothing worth fighting for. We should go home and if we're attacked, we deserve it, because hey, the other side's cause is equally legitimate as well. There are no good or bad guys here.

Yeah, that Spielberg-Castro meeting in Cuba was the revelation moment for me about Spielberg, and that quote you provide that he said about it was just alarming.

That people like Spielberg can't discern being wooed by a dictator from the dictator's brutalities and murders of others is either blind stupidity or complicity.

Spielberg is among those who are romanced by communism...scary.

Terrorism is not just America's problem. The problem is self-hating liberals think 9/11 is not that big a deal. If al-Zarqawi hacks off heads, its happening in a land filled with people with funny sounding names whose mess is none of our bother.
