For a moment I thought this was reporting on today's stock market -- today being Monday, January 15, 2007. This was especially baffling since I assumed the markets are closed for the holiday. Then I saw the date: December 2005. Then I exhaled.

Last year I had heard some of the pundits prognosticating about '06. They missed the DJ by about 2500, underestimated the S&P, and were spot on about the European, Australian and Far East markets. Just thought it was interesting for everyone. Especially since the article was doom and gloom, mostly.
