My understanding is that his refusal to inform on what he knows/knew about the Crips and their organization is the most significant reason for denying him clemency.

This is why I have no problem with his execution. If he truly had renounced the Crips and gangs, then what is the problem with informing on them. Until someone can explain (adequately) why someone deserves clemency who keeps information secret on individuals/organizations who he publicly renounces, I have no problem with the outcome.

A man of peace, does not withhold information that would end violence (by helping to disband the crips) and promote peace.

If he'd snitch on his gang members, they'd have murdered him also. By having the state do it (suicide bt cop) he became a martyr for their sick, twisted cause.

I've got a co-worker who was spouting the line about puting an innocent man to death. I soooooo wanted to refute her idiocy, but I didn't because I didn't want to cause a scene. (when she gets embarassed, she becomes loud and obnoxious.)

But I was able to convince the co-worker she was spouting off to to the real reasons why he's no longer breathing air. He actually believed me......
