Marine Corps History
4 December 1950: LtCol Raymond G. Davis led his battalion into Hagaru-Ri, Korea after four days of intense fighting in the mountain passes against a numerically superior hostile force. His battalion, 1st Battalion, 7th Marines, helped clear the way for the 5th and 7th Marines, and LtCol Davis was awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroism.

I posted the America Attacked one twice yesterday as some in the media seem to have forgotten we are at war and that we were attacked right here on US soil.
The political posturing by some of our elected representatives would lead me to believe they think we have forgotten. Afternoon! Wasn't President Bush great this morning in his Press Conference! Afterwards, I heard one of the commentators call his tone "defiant". He needs to be - they are such jerks, and think he should tell them about every move he plans to make in this war on terror and *when* he plans to do it. And *how* he plans to do it. DUH!

Hi all.. My good buddy Murphy remains busy at the DollyCali household. All I will say for now.. Thanks rus for military Monday. So proud of our troops and so disgusted with their detractors.
If I can stay awake, hope to watch stream on Presser on CSpan at 8. I go to bed early because of fatigue, but don't sleep particularly well & am up at 3 or so ...
Very cold here. wind chill now below zero.. snow flurries, but fortunately no accumulation. Need to go out & make some warmer beds for the outdoor kitties, I keep the garage door open enough for them to get in but some just huddle in piles in boxes on front porch. Try to lure them in but they are frightened. I always free sorry for the outdoor animals this time of year. so hard on them.
