Yes, the AP is trying to paint this as a Bush defeat. Too bad they have no foresight. The Senate just handed Bush a HAMMER with which to beat the living crapola out of the dems with this year and for the rest of the year. I hate polls, but even the most liberal of the polls showed that the American People favored the Patriot Act (of course, miraculously, new polls will soon appear showing no support for the Patriot Act.)
