The George Soros-funded campaign to legalize marijuana has run into a problem. Joseph Smith, convicted and sentenced to death for the abduction, rape and murder of 11-year-old Carlie Brucia, has been exposed as a pothead. In an unsuccessful ploy to spare his life, his attorneys argued that he was a drug addict, used drugs on the occasion of the Brucia murder, and began his involvement with drugs by smoking marijuana. It looks like marijuana didn't have many "medical benefits" in this case.

Of course all of this lunacy is centered around smoking the ganga weed.

Another source of amazement is the concept of those who hold candlelight vigils (yet another example of religious ceremony) for heinous murderers about to be executed, a large number of whom think it is acceptable to murder an unborn child without the benefit of a trial. Is the “right to life” of one responsible for much murder and mayhem more important than that of a truly innocent unborn child?

Perhaps we should call capital punishment “post-natal abortion” and identify abortion as a “pre-natal death sentence” or “pre-natal summary execution.”

Originally, the Nuclear Option Ping List started out as a practical joke. With all the vitriolic response I received from certain un-named individuals, I figured it would be a great idea to do it for real...

I have observed here on Free Republic, a never ending flaming of religious folks and conservatives by people who promote things such as drug abuse, homosexuality, the ritual murder of abortion and other garbage.

Not being an orthodox or ecumenical atheist, it has really stretched my patience. I do not think policemen are jack-booted thugs, nor do I look at people who want to protect their families from filthy scum as brownshirts.

The purpose of this is to alert people to the cultural Marxism run amok... Drugs, sex perverts, pornography (in film and in music), marijuana, liquor, bashing the religious people, destroying social institutions (like marriage and the Boy Scouts), etc., etc.,... ad nausea...

The druggies like the sex perverts can only perpetuate an ever increasing market for their filth by molesting the minds and bodies of the young ones... this is the only way they get new Demo-rat voters... CHEMICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE!

It is no coincidence Islamic pagans hate Israel, Jews, Christians and Western Civilization. The entire basis of Western Civilization is Mosaic Law, something both the Neo-Pagan Left and the pagan Islamic thugs cannot abide and wish to destroy.

The very idea that human beings have individual rights not subject to the whims of a monarch, but subject to the laws of Yahweh, is directly from Moses.

Well, one thing that I've noticed is that many of those like Soros are wealthy and have their wealth securely hidden and safe. Only then do they believe in communist reallocation of wealth. While they were acquiring the wealth, they were opposed to such nonsense.

Like all leftists, they don't believe that the system was flawed, only the people running the system. With THEM at the helm, they just know that things will work out "the right way."

Wow. Talk about stirring an old memory. I gave up grass at age 22 30 years ago when one day I straightened out before my friends, looked around the room at them all passed out in the living room on the "morning after" and said to myself "screw this" and moved out that day. Never regretted the change of lifestyle. And the pot available back then in the 70's was nowhere near as potent as what is available these days.

I had a similar wakeup call. I stopped smoking pot in the mid 80s, and stopped drinking about 2 years later when I decided that I really needed to do something with my life, since I didn't want to be working a low wage job forever. I never had a problem giving up either (although I do have a stout or porter now and then, maybe one a month).

Of course, I seem to have replaced them with another addiction: Freeping! It seems that the first thing I do when I wake up is head directly to the computer to see what's new on the forums. And it's hard to tear myself away to do useless things like go to work!
