If I weren't subject to extortionate taxes, I'd have my house paid off and a new car in my driveway.

I paid $70,000 in FIT in 2000 and $19,500 in SIT (CA) that year. Two years of taxes exceeds the purchase price of my current home. Another 6 months would purchase both of my trucks in total.

It's not your money. Ask the politicians who their cash belongs to. Someone else is driving your car and using the money for a big screen TV.

Nice Christmas gift, eh?
