That's exactly what I had thought was probably the cause. Liberalism has creeped into everything....even my dust bunnies now think they have "rights". LOL
No, I never used those terms. But she used to get really angry when I said things like, I like these ones........... or ........ these ones are really nice. She hated the redundancy.......... she told me to just say "these". It used to get her really pissed.
On another level, once at the dinner table one night back in the 50's, we were having the meal when my 12 year old brother let out a grat burp. My mother said, "What do you say?" (expecting an "excuse me") My brother chortled, "What do you expect, chimes?"
