"None. None. Zero. Not one call," a baffled Murtha told NEWSWEEK. "I don't know who the hell they're talking to."

They're not talking to people like Murtha who think cutting and running is the way to win this war. If it makes him feel any better, they aren't asking Howard Dean for advice either.

"If they'd talked to me, it wouldn't have happened."

For you southerners, what we see here is a hissy fit. For the rest of you, he popped his cork because nobody stroked his massive ego. Newsweek, however, will make it all better for at least the next two days.

Newsweek. . .is 'Newsweak' but with all the satire that is posted. . .it is confusing not using real names. . .in 'real' title. . .and reading intro does not make it any less so. . .

. . .because this is where the Demrats have taken us. . .the 'looney Left' is now, totally and unequivacally, birsirk.

Rediculous fiction sounds. . .plausible. ..reasonable. . .as does the rediculous truth of the matter.

Newsweak and Evan Thomas don't have a clue. When they refer to Murtha as an ex-Marine they unknowingly slander him.For a Marine it is the worst humiliation.

For a Marine,it's "Once a Marine, Always a Marine".

They have, in their ignorance, called Murtha what he truly is.

"A decorated Vietnam veteran, ex-Marine Murtha "

why do they keep inflating Murtha to be more than he was? What is he "highly decorated" for? With what? christmas lights and tinsel? Murtha was a office clerk during the war. He never saw action. He probably never even saw daylight unless there was a window in the office. Yes, he put in time, did his office work. But what is he "highly decorated" for?? perfect attendance?

Incredible cover. . .says so much about the material therein.

As for Murtha. . .he epitomizes. ..embodies the qualities of the 'every-man'/'kid-Demrat' syndrome, now so easy to recognize. . .

.'the 'wonder' kid. . .still cannot figure it out. (not one call!) . .the cry-baby; wanting attention from his President (bah-wah!!!); the EddieHaskell personality; cannot 'get' that actions. . .have consequences. . .

. . .and of course, their ever-present, memory-challenged faculties that allow them to actually believe their 'child' within. . .is superior to the 'man'. . .and most importantly, allows them to forget that they are adults living in a real and dangerous world.

Looks like Olds Media projecting its own isolation.
The Mad King and the Crazy Left

There seems to be a refusal among liberals to believe in reality these days. It is as if an entire segment of the population has lost their collective minds. Just what is happening?

An entire segment of the population has lost its collective mind. According to author Phillip K. Dick, reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn’t go away. Using this benchmark to judge the sanity of the Left, it becomes apparent that they have, indeed, lost their cats-eyes and pearly whites. The modern Liberal is madder than a haberdasher at a Lewis Carroll tea party.

Worth repeating. . .and LOL as well. . .

(I knew there was more to his record than 'met the eye'. . .thanks for the rest of the story)

It's W's fault they can't control their behavior.

If Newsweek could just get close to the truth. . .then that cover would have the entire hierarchy of the Demrats crammed into that bubble. It is they who are isolated. . .removed from reality. . .living in a bubble."

And yes, they are madder than the mad-hatter. . .and apparently live in his world as well. . .

I don't know. . .it is both rediculous and frightening to see these people who have truly lost their minds; and their souls; and who now appear to live in a parallel world. . .

(Cuba has a very high standard of living and the people are happy. . .and Castro is a good man. . .we ARE patriotic. . .better if Saddam had stayed in power. . .)
