When I raised my kids there was no soda in the schools(or in my home) .

I hope they ban it,it's just crap.

The kids will get all the soda they want outside of school.

When did they start selling sodas in the school.ajyway? When I went to school, back in the 50s, the schools didn't sell such items because it wasn't good for you. Did the schools get dumber or what?

I hope conservatives don't want to concede that having children eat a healthy diet is only a concern to liberals.

That's not the issue. The issue is scummy trial lawyers and "public interest" groups making hundreds of millions of dollars by suing legitimate companies which market a legal product.

Further, you manage your own kid's diets and caloric intake, and I'll manage mine. It's called taking personal responsibility, and it's part and parcel of what it means to be a "conservative."

Do you ever wonder if any of the companies that see this sort of lawsuit coming don't go and let an open contract on lawyers?

This should not even be taken up by the government or by the judiciary. They've got no business telling us what we should or should not eat or drink. To think otherwise is liberal thinking.
