"Our troops weren't paid to say that," noted Kincaid. "That's the general view of U.S. forces in Iraq. They despise the U.S. media." With good reason.

There should be an all out effort to show what the MSM has been trying to do all along... and a concurrent effort to get the truth out, even if it does sadden Tom Daschle.

I am all for having the military standing outside the office of any mainstream media news outlet when they arrive back from Iraq and given the privilege of distributing a free kick in the ass to any leftist journalist that walks out of the building that has reported on Iraq.
To: april15Bendovr
maybe a MSM reporter will soon report from 'the front lines of terror' and crap their pants when the bullets & bombs hit near them and they'll go back and actually report the truth!!
Hey wait, it already happened many times but they are still spitting out lies.

A few opinions shared by the troops both going over and coming home.
- I have asked my Mom not to watch any news while I am gone; Moms worry enough without having to listen to that garbage.
- I try to avoid reporters. If you don't talk to them they can't twist your words.
- They only use the quotes from someone having a bad day or the one guy with a bad attitude.
- We can be at a scene and return to base only to hear CNN multiply the numbers of injured in initial reports.
- I worry just as much about my family hearing only media spin as I do my own safety while I'm downrange.
- What? A reporter here? I need to go outside for a smoke.
- They are as much fun as the wacky professors on campus.

Or have troops say " well, Liberal MSM , it's time to cut and run now, we have already done our part in giving you a security escort you to this place "
To: april15Bendovr
maybe the MSM can be held accountable for aiding terrorism

My nephew ( a US Marine who was in Iraq, and was in the battle of Fallujah ) told us, that when the MSM and media was around, him and others would get as far away from the stinking slime media rats as possible.

There needs to be a new hard line drawn on the difference between the 1st amendment and treason.
To: april15Bendovr
that needs to be put on the agenda

I can believe it. All three of my sons have had to deal some being embedded. They tried their best not to talk to them. The comments I posted are just a small sample. You can't put into words to look of disgust on their face when they talk about reporters. </p>

I have a family member that is high ranking in the Navy. He was particularly upset with CNN's misinformation when he was over in the Middle East.
