While this is good news, I question it's relevance. Christians from the "Arab World" coming to this country will assimilate quite nicely. It's the muzzy immigrants that have to be watched. I have seen little sign of assimilation there.

Yo are right. The firs huge wave of Arab immigrants came in the 1880-1915 era. They wanted to assimilate--they had to assimilate. No welfare. Had to have a sponsor,etc.
Many from Mexico do not want to assimilate, and Arab radicals (probably Muslims) often do not want to assimilate.
Changes in the policies of the USA have made it easy for "immigrants" to come to America and not assimilate. (They teach some school classes in the languages of their native country). This is why America is losing its national sovereignty.

I have seen little sign of assimilation there. Population statistics are always hard to find, usually compiled by sources with some interest in the result. Some groups, CAIR comes to mind, art thought to routinely include in their estimates of America's Muslim populations all Arabs.
