He's wrong on illegal immigration, and has been ever since he took office in January of 01. Even after 9/11 he still sees no problem with open borders.
Perhaps for those expecting him to sprinkle magic fairy dust on the border and instantly solve the problem. But many of us view it as a much needed first step, and I've been pleased in hearing Sec. Chertoff further discussing the details. Yes, there are parts of the plan that need improvement, but I do grow weary of the "all or nothing" mindset around here.
