people in this debate must recognize that we will not be able to effectively enforce our immigration laws until we create a temporary worker program.
This line is all you need to read from Bush's speech to know he is not taking border security seriously.
Is it true that the richest, most powerful nation the world has ever known cannot keep the Third World at bay? Who is he trying to kid? We could easily secure our borders if our leaders wanted to do so.
