Well folks we dodged a bullet last night with the tornadoes at Ft. Riley.
The sirens went off three times on post yesterday.
There is a Sgt. with me here that was stationed at Ft. Riley with me and her house suffered damage.
We live a mile from her. Not a scratch on our place.
The only reason I can think of is that we are down in a bit of a bowl and her house is on the top of a hill.
Thank you Kathy for calling my house to make sure that BJ was ok when I panicked and couldn't get through.
Thank heavens! That's way too close for comfort!
