BRUSSELS, Nov. 25 (UPI) -- A Belgian court has sentenced a man to 10 years in prison for molesting 200 homeless boys in Thailand.

Prosecutors charged that the man, identified only as Elmar U., also photographed the boys engaged in sex acts and sold the pictures, the newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws reported.

Under his sentence, the defendant must also undergo 10 years of psychiatric treatment once he is released from prison.

Elmar U. allegedly shared the boys with a Finnish man who kept hundreds of names in his diary. Investigators say that they found pornographic pictures on Elmar B.'s computer in addition to obtaining a confession.

I thought that child prostitution was a major industry in Thailand?

Not really. It is an old stereotype. They treat those types harshly here. Thailand's economy is doing well and their main tourist target is not backpackers and pervs anymore. They are getting the Yachting crowd and retirees now. Thai jails are not nice at all. You share a cell with 40 others and only get a bowl of rice and fisheads each day.

You cannot bribe your way out over here anymore either unless you have a lot of cash either (apart from minor traffic offenses).

What does that translate to? Six months per anal rape of a young boy?

Pathetic and outrageous.

He should be put to death.

I thought the same thing. Just ten years for such horrible acts? Then ten years of psychiatric treatment after he gets out. AFTER HE GETS OUT?

The judge must have been a Clinton or Carter nominee.

I ponder if this queer was a NAMBLA member and a loving, inclusive, sensitive guy. Perhaps Hollywood will write him in to the Will, Grace, and Little Billie show. Sarc.

Sir or Ma´am, the continental European Justice system is different than the Common Law. Here, we have laws limiting the powers of judges with regard to the penalty. It isn´t possible to convict someone to 445 years or so. The maximum sentence in most countries is life imprisonment for murder, and for other offences often 10 or 15 years.

Isn't putting this guy in prison sort of like throwing Bre'r Rabbit in the brier patch?

Homosexual Agenda Ping.

Just another miserable article about a homosexual child molester. Huge number of victims, complicit with another homosexual pederast. Child pornography as well.

I know, I know, there are men who molest girls as well. But anyone who is not a homosexual apologist realizes that the figures state clearly - homosexuals commit roughly one third of child molestations. And are about 2% of the population. Clear.

Frepemail me and DirtyHarryY2K if you want on/off this pinglist.
