It's now official if there was any doubters. Powell was not only a turn coat but probably from day one serving as JCS under GHB admin way back when was not a real republican nor champion of the conservative movement. He simply served at the pleasure of the two administrations. And one is going to eventually if not already of the opinion, find Condi is cut from the same fabric. Public relation marketing can do wonders can't it.

Gee, I wonder if the Lamestream Mediots would object if we called Powell "Uncle Tom" or threw Oreos at him?

Seems to me that it applies to this opportunist traitorous POS than Steele...and remember, it's OK to race-bait "Conservative Blacks", so "Uncle Tom" Powell MUST be an OK target...right?

There have been various hints and clues along the way for those interested in such matters. You're right.

way back when was not a real republican nor champion of the conservative movement.

Powell has been a disappointment but the fact is, no one ever seriously maintained that he was a conservative. Before 2000 election he indicated that he would be glad to serve in a Gore administration if asked, as well as a Bush administration.

In other words, he has never pretended to be something he was not. What he is, however, military career aside, has not been overly admirable.

I actually think that Colin Powell is more responsible than some think, re: the lack of foreign response to Bush's call for Saddams removal...

I think that Powell was working against Bush while pretending to work for him...and he was the head of a dept., (STATE), that has careerists that were/are scared to death of losing jobs because of our lack of appeasement mode.

I think not enough BLAME is being cast Powells, way...and one way we can all see that is by the way his assistant, Wilkerson is all over the libs talkers spewing crapola...but, is Powell doing it himself?

MO, not until now----but, did Pelosi, Reid, Soros call him to get him to say this??? Powell isn't stupid enough to think that Bush Administration EVER besmirched Murtha's military record, or him personally.

Actually 4 administrations, he left under Clinton over a disagreement about gays in the military (he was opposed).

Powell likes being the maverick moderate guy.

He has to go against the grain all the time, when GWB was president, he was the liberal, when it was Clinton, then Powell was the conservative.

Powell would find a way to argue with himself if need be.

He loves the limelight and the press, interestingly, the only President he never gave a hard time to, and pretty much followed, loyally, was Reagan.

Dick Cheney as SofD felt Powell was a royal pain, as did Clinton and his folks.

ALbright hated Powell with a passion after he used to snap at her.

Powell is a public relations guy, if Hillary Clinton was President, he would snap at her too, he just has to independent and gravitate away from whomever is in charge so that he call himself an independent.

I'm in agreement. I don't like Condi anymore since she has been attempting to divide Israel and making a Palestinian State. She's the devil's handmaiden in this regard. I don't trust her at all.
