Just think of all the CO2 that pit will generate.

Another round in the Hypocracy of Laurie David.

Yes and they have to heat and cool all those homes, using both energy and then 'pollute' the enviro in the production and comsumption of that energy.
Fame and money don't increase one's morals, intellect or honesty, more so it seems to degrade it.
Hypocrits, but alas 'passionate hypocrits'
And I'm a BIG Seinfeld/David fan.

Just think of all the CO2 that pit will generate. It will be nothing compared to the "open air theater" for their "friends" to emote in.

The discovery of problems on her property was therefore embarrassing, as it gives an appearance of hypocrisyAn appearance of hypocrisy? How about "the reality of hypocrisy".

It will be nothing compared to the "open air theater" for their "friends" to emote in. The stench of the BS coming from them will do more damage to the environment than my gloriously comfortable SUV.

The issue isn't only about whether they had permits or not - the David's were in a hurry to pave over protected wetlands just to be able to throw a SINGLE party for Lauries hero, RKF Jr. There are plenty of existing venues the David's could have rented for this affair. Laurie wants to live by one set of rules and have us live by another. EARTH-TO-LAURIE: Confess your crime against nature, fix it, then resume preaching to the rest of us.

The discovery of problems on her property was therefore embarrassing, as it gives an appearance of hypocrisy provides tangible evidence of their hypocricy and now everybody's gonna know.
There. That's better. I fixed it.

The issue isn't only about whether they had permits or not - the David's were in a hurry to pave over protected wetlands just to be able to throw a SINGLE party for Lauries hero, RKF Jr. I know. That's what makes this story particularly delectable.

Gosh, if Laurie was really serious about environmentalism, she should tear down this house and return the property to nature.
HAHAHA I crack myself up sometimes.

I think that's where limousine liberals have their second or third homes. Plenty of those "second and third homes" in Vermont, as well. (Woodstock, Stowe, Ludlow, Manchester)

Nothing like getting caught in the net you helped set up for others.

If you go to the Radar Magazine article, there are hot links to the complaint and the David's reply letter.
They will be leaving the island for the winter- for some other home presumably- but are anxious to resolve the situation.
