I met Mr O'Neill last year. What a modest man who accomplished so much for this country.
O'Neill is so typical of our Viet Nam era veterans. Quiet heroes who did their duty then came home expecting no glory (and boy, they sure got very little). They then picked up their lives where they had left off and got on with good honorable lives.
I detest what John Kerry and the men & women like him did to try to sully these vets.
