A doctor acting for the Swiss euthanasia group, Dignitas, has committed suicide after learning that a German woman he euthanized was not terminally ill.

Something fishy about the reportage here. The author is simply saying "post hoc" but the article is written as if it is "propter hoc." I mean, did he leave a note saying this was why he was committing suicide? No such note is mentioned in the article.

Maybe this Dr. Minelli had either remorse or fear of prosecution. But maybe he was just a depressed, death-obsessed person.

Has homicide been ruled out? You know, some suicides are really just hits. Maybe the doc knew too much and this patient wasn't the only one who was force exited. The death care systems will kill anyone if it serves their needs and preserves the group.
