I guess Vietnam doesn't want to join the sex tourism jamboree.
I wonder if they'll shout "Hey!" after each volley.
"Rock 'n' Roll Hootchie-Koo" indeed.
If you're going to be a dirty old man, you may wish to do so in a country that doesn't put you to death for doing so.
I'm just waiting for Amnesty to come out in support of this sleazebag.

Arrest and conviction
His new career fell apart on November 18, 1997, after he took his computer to UK computer store PC World to be repaired. The staff there found a large amount of pornographic images of children on the hard drive and called the police. Glitter was arrested and, on November 12, 1999, was convicted on child pornography charges; he was sentenced to four months in prison. This prompted his scene in the Spice Girls movie called Spice World: The Movie to be cut from the final release.
After his release from prison, Glitter moved to Cuba in 2000. After his whereabouts were published in British newspapers, he relocated to Cambodia but was later expelled by the Cambodian authorities after a public outcry at his presence.
In September 2001, Glitter released a new album, called On, featuring new material alongside tracks recorded prior to his conviction. Many of these songs were originally written for the Lost On Life Street album, which was scheduled for release in 1998 but was cancelled following Glitter's arrest.
It was reported in December 2004 that Glitter was once again living in Cambodia, and had bought a house there, after he had released the single "Control". In 2005, Remember Me This Way the documentary movie filmed at Glitter's career peak in 1973 (and originally released in 1974) was released for the first time on DVD.
On November 16, 2005 British and Vietnamese press reported that Glitter was being sought for engaging in underage sex one of the two girls involved was 12 [1]. He was detained at Ho Chi Minh airport on November 19, 2005 as he tried to board a plane to Bangkok.
it's odd that that westerners think the rest of the world is western ... what's he doing in vietnam anyway? ... if he'd been caught in the phillipines he'd probably get away with a caning
We need this law.
I wish we would shoot pedophiles here in this country!
What's with those weird eyebrows and that hair??
I guess that that's what that Vietnamese official meant when he said the other day that,if guilty, officials would take "very stern measures" against him.
What a dope. Everybody knows if you want to sleep with a 12 year old girl, you go to Cambodia or Thailand! Those Vietnamese are savages with a well documented history of brutal justice. You can get such a good quality date in the domino parlors of Phnom Penh, or the Karaoke bars in Bangkok, which is just a hop skip and a jump from Vung Tau.
Anyways, a lot of those youngsters in Vung Tau have syphilis, and not the normal kind that gets cleared up with some penicillin. This is a super syph that gives you flaming urinations and you've got to use Telithromyacin to get it cured.
No, the lovely young strumpets form the other indo-china regions are the way to go... or so I've been told. (If what I just wrote makes you sad or angry,
Secondly why would I have a reason to care?
If this person, and I use the term loosely, chooses to get into bed with girls that are not at least visibly over the age of consent, as regards their physical development, he deserves what he gets.
If you know what you are looking for, it is nearly impossible to mistake a girl for a woman. I prefer women.

I strongly suspect that standards of evidence and due process in a Vietnamese (i.e., Communist) court are not at the level of those in the USA or the UK, and I hope that his case is closely followed to ensure that he gets a fair trial. That said, if he did have sex with a 12-year old girl...may G-d have mercy on his soul.
Charlie has the right idea for a change.
I'm glad to see that "Molesting Kids, Pt. 2" isn't working out so well for him.
I hope the VC pop a cap in him.
