Not mentioned was his long pursuit to get it and that Arafat got it too....you know, that peace loving Arafat.
Funny. Most people would consider having become President of the US their finest achievement in life.
Guess who will be here tomorrow to sign his new book! None other than McCain himself. I do not plan on going.
When those two got a Nobel Peace Prize, I knew that it was totally worthless. I cannot think of any two people that have done less for Peace. Jimmah would not have had a hostage situation color his entire Administration if he had not screwed over the Shah because they did not succumb to his extortion attempts. I would wager that the entire Middle East had been worse off because of his stupidity, and God awful judgment.
One of the most amazing things I've heard is Democrats still believing Carter is one of our greatest presidents, and that his involvment in human rights after leaving office is a wonderful example of how great he is.
Even now, they believe Carter and Clinton, being great presidents in their minds, should be speaking out to stop the Republicans from destroying their vision of America. Rockefeller talking to our enemies prior to the Iraqi invasion, no problem. Rockefeller was trying to save us from ourselves.
