< Where did you get the idea she was kidnapped? >

It's been described from the beginning as murder/kidnap. She's returned to PA and the latest I heard, this morning, is the same. Until the police know more and tell more...that seems to be the case.

I believe the younger children who witnessed it all gave the initial indication that she was forced.

"I believe you are right, this is Clinton's legacy. I had never heard of teenagers having oral sex in public pre-Clinton."

I had to ride the bus my sophomore year in HS. Sex, but more often flashing and fondling, were not uncommon amongst certain kids who rode the bus. As a minority (white) in our small, southern town, there was nothing I could do but ignore it and sit near the front. Eventually I got the courage to tell my dad, which quickly ended my daily rides on the bus. Reagan was president, by the way. Not to demean Reagan by any means at all. More to the point that this nonsense has been going on well before Clinton. Oh, it also happened in bathrooms, in the backs of classrooms, etc.

On the bright side, at least the boys weren't committing the sex acts on each other,..

That's why they are being disciplined, If they had been performing gay sex acts it would have been held up as their right to express their sexuality and celebrated as diversity.

"These cases are coincidental," Cadwell said. "There was no conspiracy."

Nothing new here folks - let's move on...

If the grammer in your post is any example of the alternative to Home-Schooling, I'll stick to Home Schooling, thank you...

And we could say the same about your spelling , couldn't we?......:-)

At the first hint of trouble--make Mommy and Daddy drive Junior to school.

Never happen...that would inconvenience the parents.

The lad was also charged with kidnapping.....that would indicate the DA believes she was an unwilling participant.

LOL - yes, she reads FR sometimes but does not post. Her interest is posting on horse forums run by some of the horsey magazines. And she does comment on a lot of the politics that people slide into their posts on thoe forums. Liberals inject their politics into these areas too !

The single biggest contributing factor - among many - that I have observed from first hand experience with two teenagers- MTV. It is nothing less than soft core porn.

They were simply getting their homework done before arriving home.

Well, let's see... The kid belonged to a family who lived in an active community, he went to a church, he worked as a lifeguard and then worked at Circuit City. And at age 18 in PA, he is no longer considered a homeschooler. School control over home education ends at age 17. Kinda sounds like the average teenage kid to me regardless of where he did or did not attend school.

Great cartoon ! Points out what a lot of people forget - a restaurant is patronized by choice, but a public school is not.

At least the superintendent apologized and is separating the kids. That's more than you get in most districts.

The problem is that he's not separating them correctly. He should be removing the problem children a) from the bus; b) from the extra-curricular activity that caused them to ride the bus; and c) from school.

Eventually, you let them back in school, but I would keep them off the bus and away from extra curricular stuff for the rest of the year.

Instead, this moron came up with his and hers busing which is not cost effective.

Which makes me wonder if the girls story is to be believed. If true, those boys would have been kicked out of school, brought up on charges, sent to juvenile hall.

Need more info.

"State police said a 14-year-old boy was charged in juvenile court with forcing a 13-year-old girl into a sexual act"

There are charges.

I read it as that the busing is not seperate, but the seating is: "Some boys and girls in an Oswego County school district must sit in separate sections of their school buses"

Add to that the administrations' refusal to kick the disruptive kids off the bus.

That's what struck me ... why are the boys allowed to be on the buses at all?
