I'm buying some Playstation 2 games for the troops in Iraq. I know nothing about which ones are good.
Anyone who has played these games, please give advice on what to avoid and what to get.

I've had a couple of contributions via paypal and am going to get some Playstation 2 games for the ECB at Baghdad.
Ask someone who plays these games for advice on which titles to get please.
Some titles are listed above.
They all seem to like the Tom Clancy games. I sent some to my guys but their absolute favorite was something I think was Helo2
Halo2 is fantastic.
The Halo games are Xbox-exclusive. Not exactly a good choice for a Playstation 2.
Probably Halo 2, which is only for Xbox.
The NBA games are interesting to those who like basketball. I would send one of those, too.
With the understanding that I don't own a PS2 and am only going by what I've heard, I would say God of War is choice #1, and GUN would be another good choice. GUN is brand new, so may be more expensive/harder to find used.
All of the Tom Clancy games would probably be good choices. You can get a good idea of a game's quality at gamerankings.com if you want to take the time to search for individual titles.
Those prices seem great. Are you getting someone to give you a deal? Maybe a letter to a manufacturer or major vendor could get some free contributions...
A very noble idea you have there. I'll try to help later in the week.
Oh, yeah. Resident Evil 4 would be another excellent choice. Just make sure you get 4, though, as there are a lot of Resident Evil games, and most of them aren't as good.
Still I do need advice on Xbox also as we're going to get one for Bagram air base in Afghanistan.
Prices are from a buyer I deal with at an auction website who ships to me a cost (flat rate priority boxes 5x8x11) because my purchases are for the troops.
I'll link our current thread: Care Packages for the Troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, 2005
Unless AAFES started selling PS2's over there get them a XBox or Gamecube game instead.
Unless its for Gamecube then get Resident Evil 0, the absolutely best one of em all.
.....why not a Dr. Phil book?
Thanks for advice on new games. I could splurge and get one new one, as well as some of these older ones.
4 controller adapter doesn't come with the Playstation 2 and has to be bought separately?
