I know you were just being sarcastic, but there really is overwhelming evidence of WMD in Iraq. I really don't know why the Bush administration let the Dems get away with all the lies.

Fact Sheet: Iraq's Nuclear Weapon Programme

INVO's extensive inspection activities in Iraq between 1991 and 1998 resulted in a technically coherent picture of Iraq's clandestine nuclear programme. The programme was very well funded and was aimed at the indigenous development and exploitation of technologies for the production of weapons-grade nuclear material and production and manufacturing of nuclear weapons. IAEA report S/1997/779 to the UN Security Council provides a detailed overview of Agency activities in Iraq and its assessment of Iraq's clandestine nuclear weapon programme. An update and summary of this report can be found in S/1998/927 and S/1999/393. The reports cover all Agency activities in Iraq between 1991 and 1998.

Wasn`t this whole thing with the UN inspectors about getting Saddass to tell them what he did with all that stuff? I remember liberals and the sewer frogs (French) crying "Let the inspections work...Let the inspections work", but if I remember correctly it wasn`t about seeing if he had any, but what he did with what he had which he would not say. The conclusion then is that they could be anywhere and can be used anywhere and at anytime which liberals and the sewer frogs seem to feel quite safe about because they are insane.

I would imagine there is a reason behind it. For instance, if the administration fears that we haven't found it all, it's better to take the hits and convince the terrorists it doesn't exist rather than have the whole place swarming with people attempting to find them before we do.

Perhaps once the Iraqis get strong enough to handle it, the whole truth will come out. In the meantime, there is horrendous damage being done to the presidency. The only thing that would motivate this president to take that damage (not just to himself, but to the very presidency) is the safety of the American people. He trusted the American people to keep things straight, but it looks like they have let him down.

Amazing, isn't it?

I remember reading a story shortly after the invasion that stated our troops had found a 14 building complex NW of Baghdad that was so "hot", radioactively speaking, that they could not even enter the buildings. I never heard anymore about it after that one report. I wonder what the real story was there? That kind of radiation has to have come from HEU or HEP.
