It's agenda journalism.
I think the polls are accurate, on balance.
It's junk science. Kinda like global warming.
Manure. It's a push poll by AP/IPSOS.
This poll has a 51% Democrat sample.
And how does that compare to the poll about Clinton's honesty and ability to fight terror?
You mean to tell me they didn't ask anyone back then? I'm shocked!
While this bait is somewhat tempting, it is not very fresh. I pass.
Is this the same group of people polled who also like Bill Clinton and the way he handles his job?????????????
With the advent of Talk Radio and Fox News, the MSM media doesn't even try to disguise their left wing bias anymore,. All week long we have seen Mary Mapes on the talk show circuit and NOBODY has asked her how a Microsoft Word Document could ever be considered as a legit Military document. She has been asked by every talking head if she stands behind the documents, when she says "Yes" they simply move on and ask her another question.
Our main stream media makes the Soviet's Pollit bureau look fair and balanced by comparison
All I have to say is, how many truely honest politicians can you name in Washington?
"Most Americans Say Bush Not Honest"
Most Americans are ignorant.
Polls basically measure the medias' effectiveness at getting their message out.
No,the people,I would not go so far as to call them "Americans", whom the pollesters contacted say that President Bush is dishonest.
Real Americans know better.
A better title would have been:"American Haters say that Bush is Dishonest."
Polls like this simply reinforce the notion (for those of us with a clue) just how utterly stupid the general masses are. It's truly a Jay Leno man-on-the-street world out there.

"Poll: Most Americans Say Bush Not Honest"
This American Says Most Polls Not Honest
Just to add to the media polling bias, here is the recent history of the "ever-reliable" AP/Ipsos polls (January - November 2005) and their political Party ID sample composition for each poll. The AP/Ipsos polls push Independents to identify with either Republicans or Democrats, only the 'hard-core' remain as self-identified 'Independents'...
This is an mixed ADULTS and Registered Voters poll, not just registered voters. Note the consistant gap in the party ID between Democrats and Republicans, strange given the the 2004 Presidential Election exit polls identified 37% Republicans, 37% Democrats and 26% Independents among the voting American public. The Republicans have achieved voter self-indentification parity with the Democrats for the first time since the late 1920s.
This series of AP/Ipsos poll result on Presidential job approval and the American public views on the 'direction of the country' was as always based on a skewed demographic sample that averages 41% Republican, 49% Democrat and 10% Independent composition. I think that when the AP poll fails to get the results they desire, they 'play' with both the registered voters composition and vary the un-registered voter portion of the poll sample. Since the Registered voter portion of the poll averages around 78% and the 'breathing' voter averages around 22% you can see they have quite a bit of "statistical slack" to play with to get the results they require...
Note: The AP/Ipsos polls are published in PDF format and become unavailable after one month. You must be a 'premium' member to access those PDF files on their web site. No consistant links are provided for that reason.

Hope this helps,

The RATs have hated Bush from day 1, except right after 911 when Bush had a 90% + rating.
The reason for the drop in the polls is ALWAYS wrong, when the MSM authors the story. The true reason for the drop in the polls is that conservatives are fed up with Bush. It is not the "middle" or nonsnese like that. It is the true conservatives, hardcore Republicans who have thrown the towel in on Bush.
Bush is pretty honest for a politician. More so than all of the Dems, and 85% of the Rats in Congress. He makes some mistakes, but is a good man.
