Let me first say I think questioning Bush's sincerity is ridiculous; if there's anything we know about the man it's that he's honest. That said, with regard to your comment:

Right DNCMan, that is why this poll told us all last year it was "President Kerry" in a landslide. Because it is "So accurate".

The Final AP Ipsos 2004 Presidential Poll had Bush winning 50-48. Let's at least try to base our arguments on factual evidence - anything less does our side a disservice.

Sorry if it is not popular on FR, but its pretty clear to me that the polls that show the President with sub 40

Oh and the ones like Rassmussen and Fox that do NOT show what you want are "not accurate" Nice try DNCman, but you don't get to pick and choose which polls are "Accurate" just because the appeal to your Hate Bush Always dogma.

Oh BTW, Savage is a loser posture pretending to be a "Conservatives" he really is a old Lefty Social Worker who just pretends to be "Conservative" to suck in the drones. His whole gig is a phony act. He just goes out and acts like what the Hysteric Left THINKS a "Conservative" behaves. He is a fraud,.

Example of how easy it is to deceive the majority of Americans. It is not as though we need anymore examples as 2/3rds of this nation were deceived by the Clintons.

I don't believe polls...they are rigged. I don't know anyone who believes Pres. is dishonest whether they like his policies or not.

I would bet that most Americans don't have a clue who Libby is...everyone knows the Dems are trying to something on Bush. It has been the same since Watergate. I tune the whole thing out.

I don't know how we would have won WWII with people who base the success of a war on body count. Damn more people died in skirmishes back then. I believe we fight the Arabs in Iraq or we will fight them in the US. Look at what France's appeasement policies have gained them. France in in flames.

It would be beyond human limits if the US suffered casualties rates along the lines of WWI or WWII if the war lasted 10 plus years. We lost only 2000 KIA in three years of fighting and we dropped from 70 percent to barely 50 percent support for the war. AQ is not stupid. If they keep a force in the field and continue to hit and run, where would the US public will be at if we lose another 2000 KIA in the next 3 years? We will be screaming for unilateral withdraw, even if we won all the military and political objectives in Iraq. Propaganda is the only way to keep the US public will going. If we do not, we will lose in the long run and embolden future enemies.

I don't base success on a body count, I base if the war is being fought properly on a body count. Big difference there.

Any commander worth his salt considers what the casualties are going to be against what the objective is before he orders his men to move, that is fundamental.

I must remind you that without mobilizing and sustaining public support for the war, and letting natural recourse take place, we went from 70 percent support to barely 50 percent support (some polls even lower) in three years and only 2000 KIA. You talk about maybe being concern if 3000 to 5000 KIA is reached. I hate to say this, GWB did not say too much while the MSM and the left pummel the US war effort. He is just starting to fight back, and I hope he is not late. Remember the jihadist is taught to be patient, and learn to be patient with patience. OBL patiently took 8 years to plan and implement the attack on the WTC after the first attack in 1993 failed. They take the same approach to their guerilla war against the US in the Middle East. The Battle of Algiers is their blueprint and the Chinese book on Assymetric Warfare is their guide. I recommend reading the book because it is based partially on the PLA white paper in 1999 that assesses the strategic weaknesses of the US. Inability to fight protracted wars even if casualties are reasonable for a country the size of the US is one of the weaknesses identified. I argue that such weakness exist because we try to continue a normal civilian life (free press and no propaganda) while fighting a war.

I think our discussion has run its course. You know how many distractions there are in the US. People don't want to hear about Iraq all the time. Bush could talk himself till he is blue in the face, if car bombs are still going off in Baghdad almost every day Bush would soon sound hollow. With Iraq it is hard for people at this time to see that we are actually winning. I have read many books on warfare I could recommend to you too buddy. And let me remind you that President Bush said "this will require the commitment of a generation." The body count I mentioned was just as a guide to if we are actually fighting properly- not if we are winning, there is no option we must win. I never said pull out if the body count gets too high. I wish you kids would actually read my posts before talking down to me about something I never said.

If you can't see that Bush's popularity is in the crapper, then you simply can't see.

Sure. You don't have to pretened here Hitman, we don't ban people just for being Democrats like you DUers do. You hate Bush and love Hillary. Personally I think you are nuts for feeling that way but Freepers are a lot more open minded then you Dems. It's ok to quit trying to pretending to be what you OBVIOUSLY aren't

I have been a registered Republican since age 18 and a regular conservative contributor on FR for almost six years.

I am not a DUer. If you feel that acknowledging that the president is doing poorly in polls somehow makes someone a democrat, I just don't get it.

Stay in denial then Hitman, but don't kid yourself that you fool anyone else. Your DNC directed talking points are so utterly transparent. So keep kidding yourself that your beloved Hillary is more popular then she is and Bush is more hated then he is. Going to be really funny watching you try to rationalize away 2008 the same way you suddenly disappeared after Nov 2nd 2004.

First of all, I have predicted many times that Hilly won't evenbe the nominee, and that in fact it will be a popular current for former dem governor from a Red State.

I am a regular contributer on FR for years - I didn't dissapear on Nov 2nd 2004. You're not in denial. You're just imagining things.

Right, you not a Hillary lover you just happen to spend 100% of your time ranting and raving at Bush and the Republicans and never ever seem to ever find anything bad to say about Kerry or the Democrats because you are a "Savage Conservative". Come on. That is such a transparent fraud. No one on Free Republic believes you are anything but a 100% dyed in the wool card carrying Hillary stooge. You behavior exposes what you REALLY think.
