I like I-77 better because you get eight more.

Heh ... They'd be constantly replacing stolen highway signs. There used to be a US69, that got its number changed because of that.

The state is considering a Trans-Texas Corridor, separate from the Interstate system, that would be built by the private sector and paid for through tolls.Say what?!? Why that's totally 'unrealistic' < /sarcasm>
Good for the state to turn road building back to who should have been doing it all along

I'm familiar with Hwys 59 and 77. Where does 281 go?

The highway isn't dead. Our elites have a Socialist Community of North America to build.
Cost means nothing to people who are just going to steal the money from someone else's pockets.
To: FearlessFreep
Its the most stolen sign in Michigan.

So every road should be a toll road? Unrealistic, especially in neighborhoods.

Back in the 90's I listened to the satellite feed (when I worked in TV) for the Arkansas Radio Network. They talked about a plan to build I-69 in southern Arkansas. If they ever build I-69 I hope someone in Congress offers to name it after America's only president from Arkansas. I-69 The Bill Clinton Way. Or something like that. Any suggestions?

Where does 281 go?
North from Corpus Christi to San Antonio, west of Austin and the DFW area on up to Wichita Falls and then on into OK west of Norman.

So every road should be a toll road?Hey, mlc... I gotta deal for ya...
How'd ya like to be 50-50 partners in a toll booth investment?
We'll set it up just past billbears' driveway!
I figure we oughta make a bundle!
To: Tolerance Sucks Rocks
You're being cited for speeding on I-69!
