My liberal friend who listens to NPR said that they had some debates on over the past few weeks, and that "both sides of the argument had very good points." The other side really plays up the farfetched example of the girl raped by her parent, or the girl whose parent might kill her if he thought she were pregnant. First of all, the girl in the first example would be taken from the home if she could tell a teacher or other safe adult. And the second girl doesn't exist and never has.
There are very, very few such girls here in California today, but keep in mind that the Muslims have plans to change this.
