Since Rush mentioned a burned car count today, I gathered together some sources online, and compiled this site. I will do my best to keep the page updated until the rioting ceases. If you have more information or better numbers, let me know.

Don't forget the buses. Saw a pic of 28 city buses in a row burnt out....

You might want to change the source on November 4th from "Bangcock" to "Bangkok".LOL. I didn't even notice that .. LOL... Whoops.

Churches too? I bet you none were Mosques!
To: Red Badger
So if smoke from the burning french cars keeps mosquitos away, can we call it "Citroen-ella"?

I wonder how these numbers are accumulated.
French secrect service (what an oxymoron) must be compiling data furiously.
Buses should count for 5 cars :)

You don't remember the sinking of the Rainbow Warrior with all hands on board at the time in Wellington Harbor?

Somehow, all of this must be Bush's fault

From another thread:
About 4,700 cars have been burned in France since the rioting began and 1,200 suspects were detained at least temporarily, Gaudin said...

Why doesn't Cindy come out and tie herself to one of these cars?

If Bush had rounded up cars instead of terrorist and sent them to Gitmo, no cars would have been burned. Got to be his fault.

I know there have been injuries, but has anyone died from the rioting yet, aside from the 2 kids that initially got electrocuted?
Sorry, I'm allergic to the MSM.

We use Louisiana officials to give 'official' figures. On Monday night my Mama called and said, 'My car's on fire'. And I said don't worry Mama, we're coming.
On Tuesday night...

While you gather stats, you could include
# of people arrested (over 600 in total)
# of towns with riots (up to 274 towns yesterday)
# of police involved (over 8,000)
# of troops involved (1,500)

question:
why did the Muslims target cars and not buildings? I know some buildings where burned but the target seemed to be cars. Why?

At least one was reported. Some guy that got beat up died today. But since the police can't even get in the neighborhoods who knows. Note: All photograpths seem to have police presence in them, no journalist are going it alone.
