How Long Before Europe Falls?
I'm hoping about a week.
The Ottoman Empire pushed against Europe for a long time. They came close to taking Vienna in 1530 and made their last stand against Vienna in about 1680. They were mostly victorious until then. However, Hapsburg power pushed back. Prince Eugen whacked them a few times. Overall the Ottoman Empire became extremely corrupt and decadent, unable to keep up or even to fight well.
The Kinross history of the Ottoman Empire is one of the best books ever written, very fair and also filled with fascinating details. The Armenian genocide is covered with great fairness.
The West is letting a sterile culture take over. If we do not stand up for Western values and our democratic republic we will surrender to a weak, corrupt, and decadent culture. We are better militarily, culturally, politically.
It matters very much that Europe has already surrended to Islamic demands. I am glad Islam is showing their gratitude so forcefully. Those who capitulate are not easily roused to adopt different tactics. That is my fear.
