Fifteen years in and I don't think we have an inkling of an idea as to how important the 'Net will ultimately prove to be.

Ike (Eisenhower) gave us two things - the interstate highways, and the Darpa research in a network that would be sufficiently decentralized to survie a nuclear attack.

Not as great as Reagan, who defeated the Soviet Union without having to test the survivability of the internet, and who led a rebirth of conservatism in America, when it was most sorely needed.

But surely better than Clinton, who gave us a blue stained dress, a hundred Arkanicides, a far stronger Chinese military, emboldened Islamic radicals, and the meaning of the word "is".
