More than one reporter I spoke with after the press conference expressed shock at The Post's acknowledged behavior in this matter. There was one, however, who had no problem with what they did. This is a serious matter and it's not going away anytime soon for The Post.

This is going to get good...

Did they create the account? This doesn't quite sound like a FR profile, but a leftist stereotype of one:
"I hate John Kerry and I'm sick of his lies. This is the most important election in history and George bush must win. If not the Islamic Terrorists will win, there will be more attacks on the states."
True or not, that's not something we typically say here.

In fact, his or her whole posting history looks "forced". Phoney.

Wait a damn minute! If the WP does not know who MD4Bush is, how can they maintain they had authoriztion from that person.
Also, under FR rules, which MD4Bush had to agree to to register, the User agrees to not disclose the account Info.
Registration and User Agreement
"User Account Confidentiality: User agrees to protect user's account and password and not to disclose account information to any third party."

Oh! The imaginary "intermediary"!! Silly me! How could I forget the Post' little imaginary "Friends"! Funny how they just brought THAT up....
Do you smell it??? The BS in the ink at the Post??

an editor for The Post is now claiming authorization to log-in to the account of MD4BUSH. So when are we going to get some proof that the Posties didn't actually make some of the offending posts? Hmmmmmmmmmmm?

Amazing. They can beach and wine if someone posts one of their articles, but it's ok for them to sneak in and basically knowingly try to sabotage FR.
Amazing!

Isn't that like saying the editor IS/WAS MD4BUSH?

I would venture a guess that Jim has the IP number used each time MD4BUSH was accessed :-)

Post reporter Matthew Mosk logged onto the site a couple of months later using a password provided by an intermediary who was acting on behalf of MD4BUSH, Brenner said. Having an "intermediary" means they just must have documentation of the authorization, doesn't it? hehehe...I see the blood in the water, kristinn!
