This really takes the cake. I hope that one day we can take down the NYT. I'm just beside myself that they would use this brave man's death for propaganda.
Well the Times believes they were fair but they I noticed they aren't touching the "accurate" description with a ten foot pole.
And what's with the reporter's arrogant attitude questioning the opinion of people who haven't been to Iraq? Double helping of elitism on that one.
Posted separately on purpose. The NYT should not appear in the same post as the name of this fine member of the USMC.
This soldier is indeed a hero.
He sounds like another fellow we've heard about:
"Every man dies, not every man lives"
I would love to know how much Islamist money has been funneled into the New York Times and it's corporate parent...

I think we should remember the name of the reporter who did this, James Dao.
He seems to have no particular qualifications for writing about Iraq, contrary to his snide comment, beyond the fact that he's one of Pinch's designated political hitmen. His specialty is praising Democrat politicians, attacking Republicans, and pushing the "gay rights" agenda. Evidently his only interest in or knowledge about Iraq is that it's a useful tool for attacking President Bush and the War on Terror.
For some typical articles by this twit, written in 2004, see Times Watch:

Oh well... Another 500 - 1,000 people just cancled there NYT subscription.
Freedom is a something that the maggots who work for the Leftist NYT will never fully understand. They think freedom comes from Darwin or Gaia or some other mythical entity and that it cannot be taken away from them. That kind of thinking is an indicator of an ignorant person with a very low level of intelligence.
Both are made from recycled paper, but the toilet paper is actually useful.
If tabloids can get sued by "stars" for slander, why not a tabloid like the NYT when it slanders a fallen hero?
Heard Trump 2 weeks ago slam the NY Slimes. Says their Business section isn't worth reading.
I am not one to promote violence, but if that had been someone in my family, some folks would be receiving a visit.
Every single time there is an article here about the New York Times it should be DEMANDED that every member cancel any subscription, stop any purchase, ask all relatives to stop their purchases or subscription, and the same with friends and colleagues.
We must drive the NYT out of business. Just jawboning here about the NY Slimes is not good enough. We have the power to spread the word to do whatever possible against sponsors of the Slimes and to NEVER support the Slimes with any purchase.
DRIVE THEM OUT OF BUSINESS!
Whatever reputation the NY Times had for actual journalism is long lost.
What do you expect from a paper that has Maureen Dowd boinking the editorial page editor?
