hOwever, a judge is just NOW responding to a request by Republicans TWO months ago to look at the problem of dead voters on the election rolls. Supposedly, she wants all the election boards to work this weekend and get her the list of the "dead" by Monday morning....lists that date back to 1985! Evidently the judge's SECRETARY got an absentee ballot request for her DEAD father and she is "outraged!!" Especially since the head of NJ elections said he didn't know he was responsible for getting dead voters off the roles (a dem of course).
THough this is good news, after closed door seesion with both lawyers, she eased up on the deadline for the request...as the REpublican attorney said, "Seems like the Dems want the dead to vote!" I know the judge originally wanted lists at every princint so that workers could challenge "dead" voters, but not sure that's going to happen....naturally.!

Whenever I have voted in Hudson County, the only "challengers" are Democratic operatives who challenge any attempt by the poll workers to request identification or verify the eligibility of a voter (i.e. to ensure that New Jersey's already loose election laws are enforced very minimally.) I have never seen a Republican "challenger", but every precinct has 2-3 Democratic "challenger."
