Don't forget that the Clintinoids called this practice "renditioning" so it was ok then. The difference is that foreign intelligence agencies were involved in the interrogations whereas we have our own actual facilities/agents now in those countries.

Did anyone read the entire Wash Post article and notice a mention of renditioning?

Yes- "renditioning" is mentioned in the WP article.

Of couse- the article also leads everyone to believe that this is GW's policy.

The WP clearly states that this all started under the Bush administration-

"The secret detention system was conceived in the chaotic and anxious first months after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, when the working assumption was that a second strike was imminent."
