Uh, I don't like Oops, I did it Again either. Ordinary popular music is just that - it's too ordinary.

Trump probably figures he can get casinos into the coastal areas with Christ's help. Trump will, no doubt, put big bucks into this campaign and he WILL expect something in return.

Crist reassured Floridians that eminent domain would not be a problem here but unfortunately, it already is south of the Sunshine Skyway bridge. So much for that reassurance. Knowing the role he played in Terri's death, he's a total loser and a sellout.

The system is broken and probably is broken intentionally. Until people start demanding clear laws with safeguards, we are stuck with the laws of our states. There should be federal laws on forced exits since the Constitution doesn't seem to be worth a hill of beans nor does the bill of rights or the Declaration of Independence.
Be sure and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Obviously he could tell the differences and had specific tastes in which classics he preferred.

Janice Sanford, of the North Country Gazette reports.
"...PVS is a clinical diagnosis, not one that can be proven by autopsy alone and you cannot prove a negative.
Terri was evaluated and diagnosed as being in PVS by every doctor who examined her, save for those hired by the Schindlers and supplied by the RTL, who testified the way the Schindlers wanted them to and this diagnosis was made long before the medmal trial, long before the fight over the medmal award and long before the final judgment was made in favor of Terri's decision to refuse unwanted medical treatment..."

You know the NY legislature is now working on a bill concerning the order of priority for health care decision makers if a person is incapacitated. From what I've read (see the North Country Gazette), it has no safeguard if the legal decision maker is actually abusing the person they are supposed to be caring for. Let me quote the SC ombudsman's office: "...it is not in the purview of this department to determine whether the medical decision maker is MAKING DECISIONS THAT ARE IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE PATIENT OR NOT." The ombudsman was referring to the SC law prioritizing the order for HC decision makers. Seems that sort of safeguard should be in the law, but my guess is that you are correct -- it would be hard to cover up if you actually had clarity in the law.

On this Thanksgivings Day warm wishes for a great holiday and for appreciation of all we have been given.
Today we have a request for prayers...One of our own needs prayers.
Cheryl Ford just sent this request for prayers for someone in need on this day of thanks.
Dear Friends,
Tonight, I received a request for prayer from long time Terri supporter and dear friend of mine, Debi V, at _Children of God for Life_
her website
Debi's daughter-in- law Hannah was informed that she has cervical cancer. Hannah is five months pregnant with their 6th little unborn son who they have already named, Paul James.
Hannah has 5 other little children at home. Because she is pregnant, Hannah will not be capable of receiving treatment for the newly diagnosed cervical cancer for at least another 3 months. This places Hannah and her unborn son, both at risk. Please....I ask that you pray for Hannah and her family. Please ask the Lord for a miracle for Hannah and her unborn son, little baby Paul James.
Any comforting words you may have for dear Debi and her family, will gladly be passed on to her and are very much appreciated.
Thank you so very much.
Cheryl

Please ask the Lord for a miracle for Hannah and her unborn son, little baby Paul James.
When one stands up for goodness and light they go through the wilderness and Jesus is always with us. Heavenly Father, You are bigger than any cancer, this cancer is not from You, so I pray that you rip out anything that is not from You from Debi and baby Paul James. I'm standing on Your Word, No weapon formed against Debi and Paul James will prosper. Debi's faith will make her whole. It is done in Jesus' Name. Amen.

"Post #446 - http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1494762/posts?page=446#446 Wampus SC's post providing contact info. "
Sorry I'm much later to get to the thread than I usually am. I reread the post myself and saw several things of note. When I checked back on the SC website, I saw that sometimes use of drugs to control behavior (ie: of a lucid person) can be abuse. That certainly seems to be what happened.
The other thing was the number of occupations required to report suspected abuse. Failure to report is a crime. All healthcare workers are included, and there will be many around a nursing home. That may be the way we, as individuals and a group, should go in the future - because there will be more situations like this one. Medical facilities, being corporations, usually never face greater penalties than a fine - the individuals who directly ended the life don't pay. Use the reporting laws to go after every one of them as individuals. Every doctor, nurse, - everyone - who took any action that led to an unwilling death. I understand there are some legal maneuvers to force charging and/or trial. Don't stop there. There are also wrongful death suits, and possibly federal civil rights charges in some cases. Drag insurance companies into court, but only to find out which *individuals* mad the decision to approve the procedures that ended someone's life against their will.
Medical corporations exist under law only as a legal construct, and make no decisions on their own. Every time the life of a person is ended against their will, it was the decisions and actions of individuals that caused it. Individual people are responsible, and individual people must be held responsible. These days it may be impossible to educate them to morality, so they'll have to be educated as to what behavior will not be allowed. The medical industry is on notice.
And that's my rant for this evening.
And Happy Thanksgiving - be thankful we haven't given up yet!

"The euthanasiasts have planned it this way."
Yep, obviously so. Now you can't even revoke your own living will, and that's as insane as it is evil.
When Terri was still alive I said that in several years medical personnel would be killing people against their will, regardless of living wills or advance directives.
I was wrong. It took less than a year! The euthanizers are more deeply entrenched than many thought.
