I've lost a file and wonder if freepers have it.
John Kerry, in 1998, after the Iraqi Liberation Act was signed, was a guest with Cokie Roberts on ABC. Kerry advocated American boots on the ground to force regime change. This was pre 9/11!
Kerry also said that we should force regime change even though, he admitted, the allies wouldn't be with us. They would have a lot to answer to, he said, especially Germany and France.
Does anyone have that link anymore?
Don't have a link but remember seeing the clip where kerry stated America may have to take "unilateral action" against Iraq if need be...
That's right! He did say that in his appearance on ABC. I have GOT to find that link.
I had it during the election and then deleted all my Kerry files AND my recyclable bin. Dang.
Im not really to worried about what Kerry has to say. I kind of tune him out.
I'll buy that.
"Im not really to worried about what Kerry has to say. I kind of tune him out."
Agreed. I'm curious why anyone here (or elsewhere) has any remote interest in this clown.
The point is to remind them
Kerry was hawkish in 2002, 2003...He reverted to his Vietnam tactic of undermining the war effort when Dean was kicking his butt early in the Dem primary to pander to the Castro loving Dem base.
"The point is to remind them"
Of what - that he's an a$$clown? Sorry, but that should be well known by now.
Uh these are the same ppl. now going after the republicans for lying and we need to get it out there of what hypocrites they are.
John who?? Really, even the Dems aren't listening to this clown...
Kerry's appearance on This Week on Feb. 22, 1998, when Saddam was harassing U.N. weapons inspectors. "We have to be prepared to go the full distance" to disrupt Saddam's regime, Kerry says. Cokie Roberts asks him, "Does that mean ground troops in Iraq?" Kerry replies, I am personally prepared, if that's what it meant. I don't think you have to start there. I think there are a number of other options. But what I hear from the administration, thus far, is if he doesn't comply, then we will hit him. The obvious question is, after you've hit him, have you opened up your inspections? Well, I think the answer is probably not, certainly not in the near term. After you've hit him, is he still in power, capable of building weapons again? Every bit of intelligence John [McCain] and I have says within various periods of time, he can rebuild both chemical and biological, and every indication is because of his deception and duplicity in the past, he will seek to do that. So we will not eliminate the problem for ourselves or for the rest of the world with a bombing attack
Thank you; that's it and I've saved it and started another Kerry file.
It wasn't in that one, but thank you. A freeper gave the exact quote and date in #15.
Today is the 1 year anniversary of the defeat of
hanoi kerry by the Swift Boat Vets and Viet Nam Vets
If the Swift Boat Vets and Viet Nam Vets had not
helped the GOP we'd be stuck with hanoi kerry
as president.
Even Karl Rove knew who was responsible for hanoi kerry's defeat.

Now all the GOP Controlled Senate has to do is enforce
U.S. Constitution Amendment 14 Sec 3

It's the least they could do to protect President Bush
There is no need to impeach Hanoi Kerry from the US Senate
He is there illegally!
WAKEUP AMERICA!
For those who "forgot" what Hanoi Kerry
did in the past read on and learn the truth.
Hanoi Kerry was still a USNR officer while he:
gave false hearsay testimony to Congress
negotiated with the enemy
helped the US lose a war
abetted in the deaths of millions
created a hostile environment for all servicemen
Why is Kerry still in the US Senate?
This is in violation of
U.S. Constitution Amendment 14 Sec 3

And the FBI has proof of his treason.

Kerry and Julia traveled to Paris, France and met with Madame Nguyen Thi Binh, the Foreign Minister of the Provisional Revolutionary Government of Vietnam (PRG), the political wing of the Vietcong, and other Viet Cong and Communist Vietnamese representatives to the Paris peace talks, a trip he now calls a "fact-finding" mission.
