No mention of the rioteers being Muslims, no mention of Islam, and the mosque gets mentioned only because of the tear gas. You noticed that too?
Other than a post I read over the weekend that contained one obviously arabic style name, that and the mention of the mosque have been the only two references that inferred a mooooze-slum tie-in to the senseless destruction of life and property perpetrated in the name of a rumor.

For the life of me, I just can't picture my Presbyterian congregation doing that.
If for some reason the police fired a tear gas canister into our church I don't see us running out, over turning and torching cars, racing through the streets throwing rocks or anything else like that.
I do see us cleaning up and asking the police for an explanation and maybe payment for the damages.

This is beginning to sound more and more like a replay of the Storming of the Bastille. On another thread related to this topic, a poster claimed that we were witnessing a revolution in Paris that could well spread across the entire EU.
