This reminds me of a story I heard this weekend from my sister. She has a friend who just moved from the Detroit area where a great many muslims have moved to. Says that contrary to the public portrayals of nice peaceful muslims who love america, the truth is that they hate non-muslims to the core.

We should pay attention to Israel vs. Palestine. That's our future right here in the US if we don't get a handle on this.

My sister used to live in Glendale, (a big Muslim community), over ten years ago. Her apt complex had mostly muslims living in it. I could never understand, at that time, why they were all so unfriendly to me. All of them.

Later, my soon to be husband, rented an apt in a different area of Glendale. Same thing, very unfriendly people.

With that said, I had friends in the past who were Indian/Muslim, and the nicest people you ever met.
