The Wretch That is Patrick Fitzgerald (song parody)
The insane mind that is Freedumb2003 ^ | 10/29/2005 | freedumb2003

The legend lives on from the DC on down Where the anti-Bush commies stay busy The Left, it is said, never rests 'till your dead When their attacks fail and they turn gloomy

With an agenda a-full, and wanted results already known The Patrick Fitzgerald was ready To Bush, those true, were just bones to be chewed When the trials of October came early

The Left had no pride, just innuendo quite snide With no facts they couldn't nail the Admin So to the courts they go, in the hopes Soros' dough would buy an indictment with no reason.

Dictating the terms, with the help of law firms When they started issuing subpoenas And when testimony came in and they could find nothing Could it be the fear of nothing they're feeling?

The MSM on the wires made tattletale sounds As facts started stacking against them And the whole Left knew, just as we all do Twas the need for an indictment come stealing/

The Rove spoke his slate, and the indictments still wait Since there was still no info to get him When Libby came, and he remembered Plame That was all they needed to nail him

When all was said and done the Fitzgerald had none Save a secondary assistant whose recall was less than perfect, so the Fitzgerald leapt and said "fellas I see a target to nail."

Does anyone know where common sense goes when outing someone who is outed The pundits all say this is a great day when some targets a minnow in a barrel

They might have been afraid that it was them that would be nailed They had already sacrificed Miller And Wilson just lies and pretends to cry For his wife, who is a stenographer

Fitzgerald droned on, for hours it seemed on CNN and the TV coverage For all watching it seemed, he was full of empty steam from the wretch that is Patrick Fitzgerald

The Left danced and smiled, as did the MSM while bemoaning the lack of a Rove hit But that’s OK they said, the whole thing aint dead We will keeping going on until a lie sticks!

How sad it will be in the upcoming weeks when the Patrick Fitzgerald comes up empty Scooter Libby it seems, will ruin the dreams of a Left that will mourn again heavy

Nice job!

Watching that press conference yesterday, I suddenly realized Fitzgerald was the last thing I would have ever believed he was:

Dumb.

As in like a rock.

I should know by now not to believe somebody's press. My bad.

I was startled by the fact that he appeared stupid.

And I understood why something that should have been immediately put to bed was stretched out for two years, with more to come.

Incredible!

You going to record that with music? You should put that on iTunes if you do!

Love it!

Fitz' press conference was eye opening for its incoherence. He was nervous and rambling. Starr was cool and confident.

Nice parody of the wreck of the edmund fitzgerald. But, I'll wait for "The Wreck of the Patrick Fitzgerald"!! Maybe it could be introduced by Chapaquiddick Teddy.
