TRICK OR TREAT FUN

Ten Signs You Are Too Old For
Halloween Trick or Treating

You get winded from knocking on the door..

You have to have someone chew the candy for you..

You ask for high fiber candy only..

When someone drops a candy bar in your bag, you lose your balance and fall over..

You have to carefully choose a costume that won't dislodge your hair piece..

You're the only Power Ranger in the neighborhood with a walker..

You avoid going to houses where your ex-wives live.

What Did You Say?

Read:
Psalm 15

Who may dwell in Your holy hill? He who walks uprightly. —Psalm 15:1-2

Bible In One Year: Luke 4-6

cover At Santa Clara University in California, a researcher conducted a study of 1,500 business managers that revealed what workers value most in a supervisor. Employees said they respected a leader who shows competence, has the ability to inspire workers, and is skillful in providing direction.

But there was a fourth quality they admired even more—integrity. Above all else, workers wanted a manager whose word was good, one who was known for his honesty, and one whom they could trust.

While this finding holds special significance for Christian managers, it also says something to everyone who claims to be a follower of Jesus. Integrity should characterize all believers, no matter what their position may be.

According to Psalm 15, truth is at the heart of every word and deed of a godly person. Since the God of the Bible always keeps His word, it follows that a godly person will be known as one who does what he says he will do.

We all need to be more careful about our integrity. Do those around us admire us for our honesty? Does the Lord see us faithfully doing what we said we would do—even when it hurts? (Psalm 15:4). —Mart De Haan

If your word is "good as gold"
And your actions prove it true,
Others hearing what you say
Know they can depend on you. —Hess

Only by being on the level can we rise in the eyes of others.

Right!

We are getting ready for the last quarter of the political game, even though it's not a game. Hitting the streets with flyers and instructions on how to do the write in.

I will be on the Radio this afternoon, I wish they had streaming audio, they don't.

I have looked every where and cannot find our story yesterday, maybe everyone went home early on Friday that does the computers and websites.

Hi sistah! Wow, tons of great sites! You certainly have been a busy bee! Sorry I haven't been around much. Dad caught my "crud" and ended up at the ER last night. Had tickets for the theater in Columbus today (Hairspray) but didn't want to leave dad for that long. Now I'm racking my brain for an easy put together costume for a neighbors party tonight (adult)AND yes will take pictures :o)

Good afternoon, Mayor!

I just got home and found your post amongst all my music pings.....have you done the radio show yet? How did it go? Wish they had streaming, too!

Sorry you couldn't find anything about the story from yesterday. We all would have loved to see it!

When is the final voting taking place. Just be out there anywhere you can so people can see you and hear what you stand for! You're in my prayers for the results that would help Erie county!
