Good evening! I never did like F Troop, but Hogan's Heroes will always be a classic to me.
Also, there was:
Sgt. Bilko
Sgt. Bilko, AKA The Phil Silvers Show, ran on CBS from September 1955 to September 1959. Ernie Bilko was the fast-talking head of the motor pool at mythical army station Fort Baxter in Roseville, Kansas. Although he was a master con artist, Bilko also had a heart of gold and would try to fix a situation whenever innocent people were involved in his scams.
McHale's Navy
ABC, 1962-1966. Ernest Borgnine was the commander of Squadron 19 and PT Boat 73. Borgnine and his crew of misfits battled both the Japanese and the long-suffering Captain Binghamton, who was determined to expose Borgnine and his rule-bending crew as the biggest bootleggers in the South Pacific (which they were.)
