At times I try to think this is all a bad dream, a very bad dream.
Islam is not just a religion, it is a "way of life" - an ideology in many ways no less of a threat than communism was and remains.
What Dr. Rice and the West fail to comprehend is that their Ramadan dinner is seen by many fundamentalists and moderates alike as being nothing more than a mockery of Islam.

You are correct, but I would call moderates mainstream instead, there's nothing moderate about them. They may not do the throat slitting and baby killing but they sure as hell fund it and cheer it.

(Liberals lie for sport and hate their country. Islam is a terrorist organization.)

Excellent point, and one that I've yet to see expressed. In their fanatical zeal to win Islamic "hearts and minds" the Bush administration is in fact succeeding only in doing precisely the opposite, while at the same time alienating Americans who see right through their BS.

It is a bad dream. Remember when we thought Islam and Muslims were colorful and quaint? Now I see those shrouds and get a chill up my spine.
I think that observant Muslims look at our pathetic attempts of appeasement with derision, and consider us weak.
We now know that Islam is a lifestyle/religion with a black heart, and Satanic beliefs. God help us.
