'Nothing yet follows on this. . .'

This seems to be a 'breaking' news - announcement. . .though it probably affects smaller portion of population. . .nonetheless; I surely hope this is cleared up quickly. . .and to Fox News and Sirius advantage. . .. .

Had to get that in.... When I got my XM I researched the two companies and after reading where if one lived in the bigger cities like NYC, LA, Chicago etc that had lots of skyscrapers etc then Sirius was better reception than XM for whatever reason and out in the boonies XM was better...why I dunno but that and the programming listed at the time was better and I chose XM.

Sat Radio has been one of my better "gadgets" added to my vehicle. Awesome form of media for road trips and emergencies where local stations may be down (hurricane etc )!

Opie & Anthony XM radio !!.......:o)

"Woo-Hoo!! XM here!"

Husband has XM.. .more sports; and Fox News too. This is not looking good for 'eventuality'. . .

Cable without Fox News is. . .meaningless.. .almost.

"Perhaps Sirius is having some cash flow problems?"

Well could. . .thanks to their pulling 'Howard' on board. . .I don't know.

Did wonder when the dial number changed for FN on Sirius (at least it did on my radio ;^? . . .) if something might be going on. . .or 'off'. . .

Sirious will be the choice for those who want to listen to a washed up Stern. XM is now providing Golf, Football, FOX......an eay choice for those who want sateliite radio.

If this is true, added to Howard Stern's ratings nosedive, and Martha Stewart's failure to take off, post-incarceration -- SIRIUS, may have a lot of money going down the drain.

Funny, my Siriius seems to be just a bit better than my husbands XM, when in the mountains. . .could be just a biased observation on my part. . . ;^) and my car is bigger. . .a little 'higher'. . .

Just for your information. I picked up an XM Roady2 receiver for only $27.00 incl everything necessary to hook it up in your car or truck. Anyone interested in where it can be bought, email me.

Why should anyone care?

It's business as usual for 2 media companies. Big Deal :(

Good to know--I myself am starting to look into satellite radio, and there's no way I'm shelling out for it if I can't get decent news programming.
