Indictments Coming Tomorrow; Targets Received Letters Today (Latest Lib Rumor)
thewashingtonnote.com ^ | October 25, 2005 | Steve Clemons

Posted on 10/25/2005 3:06:54 PM PDT by LesbianThespianGymnasticMidget

An uber-insider source has just reported the following to TWN:

1. 1-5 indictments are being issued. The source feels that it will be towards the higher end.

2. The targets of indictment have already received their letters.

3. The indictments will be sealed indictments and "filed" tomorrow.

4. A press conference is being scheduled for Thursday.

The shoe is dropping.

More soon.

The left puts a picture in my head of a kid shoveling manure all over the place on Dec 24. Come Christmas morning, there's no pony under the tree. What's worse is nobody put him up to it, he thought wishful thinking would contravene reality.

That's the end result for the Dems on Thursday, no pony. But they sure spread the manure around.

I don't plan on mocking their pain. I plan on enjoying it like never before and laughing hysterically at them.

If the targets of the investigation received their letters, then they are perfectly free to tell the press that they have received them. Many "leaks" in this investigation are exactly that.

the spin on that, if it materializes, will be interesting.

The trials will be more interesting.

1st rule of law...don't put anybody on the stand if you don't know what they will say.

Fitzwhatever is not a dumma. He could be the one that gets creamed by this.

The American Spectator, now that's a different story.

How do they think this will bring "closure"? Indictments means trials means 57 cans of worms opened.

Roberts did report that "sources close to the case" say target letters have been sent

When? Three days before the end of the GJ's term--not likely. Also, unless there have been sealed indictments or sealed plea agreements, it doesn't look like Fitzmas for the moonbats and presstitutes. Fitz has another meaning and the left may feel like they've been fitzed when all is said and done...

I hope you're right. I have to say that the two times I've seen Bush comment about this investigation, he didn't seem even slightly concerned about it. The first time, he sounded like he thought the whole thing was mildly amusing. Then yesterday he said "this is a serious criminal investigation", but he didn't sound worried at all. I hope that's a good sign. If I had to pick the most likely person to be indicted for perjury or obstruction, I'd have to pick Miller, especially with the NY Times now keeping its distance from her.

Rove wouldn't be so bad if Wilson went too. Can you imagine?

When? Well, it was a CompleteBS report. So the letters could have been sent in 1972, in Times New Roman proportional font.
