Is it surprising that one of Clinton's Creatures is behind all of this?

It would be surprising if that weren't the case. Once again, President Bush pays a steep price for not cleaning house of Democrat ideological partisans.

It is a "leak" if Tenet told others with clearance that Plame was related to Wilson and didn't mention that here role was secret vs the many non-secret CIA staff.

But if in fact Plame's current CIA role was not classified secret then Tenet's mention of her to others was not a leak, regarless of the clearance of the recipients of that information.

Furthermore, the CIA director has the implicit ability to designate or de-designate a person's classified status as secret or not by the very act of practicing secrecy or not.

Cleared yes, but if Cheney didn't know that Plame was undercover and therefore a "covert" ( that term applied here makes me gigle but federal law is federal law..) agent, then he didn't actually commit a crime.

How can the CIA "leak" information to high ranking cabinet members with with security clearance? This doesn't make sense.

Tenet is a Clinton appointee. He won't be indicted.

I'm concerned that Fitzgerald's attitude may resemble Cornelius Vanderbilt's ("Law? What do I care about the law? Hain't I got the power?"). He may indict whomever he wishes, even if they are innocent of wrongdoing. If the trial then goes to a Clinton-appointed judge, he can easily find a jury of Bush-haters in the DC area to ensure a guilty verdict. If those indicted are innocent, they may eventually clear their names, after several years of going through hell. Remember Billy Dale.

The neoprogs are going nuts with this story. You should have heard Jerry Springer yesterday. He said Libby and Rove were involved in forging those fake wmd documents. He was foaming at the mouth! Of course, he's always foaming at the mouth!

It` being reported that she worked for the CIA but only in the kitchen. Its unclear though if she was a dishwasher or a prep person. Some of her closest friends believed she worked as a dishwasher, while others swear she was a prep person.Unclear if she did either of these jobs covert or not?

This headline is totally bogus. Tenet telling Cheney is not a leak, or a crime, since both have security clearance. The significance of the Times story, which Newsmax, in its willfull obtuseness, totally ignores is:

1. That Libby's notes indicating Cheney told him about Plame contradict Libby's own alleged grand jury testimony that reporters, whose names he could not remember, clued him in that Wilson was married to a CIA employee.

2. That Cheney's interest in Wilson, even before the infamous NY Times opinion piece, puts him at the center of alleged WH attempts to "get" Wilson.

Lol! The biggest nonstory in the history of America. Wars, hurricanes, illegal immigration...and all anyone talks about is this. It's so ridiculous.

So the fact that the Times article says the notes don't say Plame's name doesn't seem to bother your analysis, huh? ;)

We're running out of daylight and there's only 75 hours left until the GJ expires. Every time I refresh one of my screens I hesitate. This thing has to end soon for the sake of my productivity. When Kerry won the election (noon to 3 Pacific Standard Time) I was in agony. This will hopefully have an equally satisfying outcome but I'll be equally stunned if I'm that fortunate.

Why would you try to apply common sense to a newsmax article?
